JBL DA6502 Decade car Amp +

Description Has previously been used. In V-good condition Will Accept any reasonable offers The DA6502 is a two-channel amp with a 4-ohm power rating of 65 watts x 2. Features include RCA or high-level inputs, 6 dB of bass boost at 50 Hz, and an internal 120 Hz crossover that can be configured for either high-pass or low-pass operation. Performance The DA6502 meets, and in most cases exceeds, its published specifications. The most pronounced bonus is an extra 97 watts over the rating in the bridged configuration. JBL’s 150-watt figure was spec’d as a 4-ohm resistive rating. We observed 247 watts driving a 4-ohm reactive load. Generally speaking, this would either indicate a pretty healthy amp or a gross under-rating in this configuration. Turn-on/off noises are a bit on the high side by competition standards (power-up: 28.7dB SPL; power-down: 45.2 dB SPL), but that’s about the only thing we can find to gripe about. This is one sweet little amp. Connections & Adjustments The DA6502 is set up with its inputs and adjustments at one end, and all power and speaker connections at the other. Adjustments include input sensitivity, crossover function select, and bass boost enable. Connections include gold-plated RCAs, a modular receptacle for the high-level inputs, and 3/8-inch spade receptacles for all power and speaker connections. Installation Installation of the DA6502 should be a snap. It’s small enough for under-seat mounting in larger cars and includes a modular plug for the high-level inputs as well as all required mounting hardware.
